From Iron Triangle to Marina Bay, North Richmond to Hilltop, our neighborhoods deserve bold leadership that puts residents first. Demnlus Johnson III is a lifelong Richmond resident, a proud graduate of Howard University, and a dedicated public servant committed to building a more just, vibrant, and inclusive Richmond for all.
From his earliest days growing up in the Iron Triangle to serving as Richmond’s Vice Mayor, Demnlus has never wavered in his belief that public service is a tool for transforming communities. His career spans local, county, and state government, as well as public and charter schools—bringing a unique, hands-on understanding of how systems work and how they can work better for the people.
